Model 03
Working prototypeDecision Intelligence Model v1.0
Intelligence that prepares decisions. Authorised people make them.
The Decision Intelligence Model is Sentient's engine for institutional decision support. It reads what an institution already holds — requests, records, policies and past decisions — and prepares clear options, each with its reasons and what is still missing, for authorised people to decide.
01How the model works
The model does not decide. It reads what an institution already holds and prepares clear options, with reasons, for authorised people to choose between. One step in five is always human.
Reads documents and requests: what they are, who is involved, what is missing.
02What it is for
Institutions decide on complex matters, with large volumes of documents and many people involved. The model does the preparation, so people can concentrate on the decision.
It does
It does not
An authorised person always reads the reasoning, chooses the action, and gives a reason if they depart from a suggestion.
03Principles
The model never approves, rejects, signs or overrides. Consequential decisions are taken by authorised humans.
Each suggestion arrives with its reasoning, its implications and what is still unknown — so it can be challenged.
Each step, and each departure from a suggestion, is recorded and cannot be quietly altered.
04Products built on this model
A model is the engine; these are what people use. The same decision intelligence, shaped for two kinds of institution: courts, and government administration.
05Who it is for

A working prototype, available for demonstration and evaluation with institutions. It is not yet offered for live production use.
We will walk you through the model and the products built on it, and discuss how they could serve your institution.
